Free Financial Education Webinars For Employees

Our extensive business services can support your employees with advice on budgeting, mortgages, protection, pensions, retirement planning and auto-enrolment.

We asked, “What does an exceptional financial services organisation look like?” In our mind, it would be honest, supportive, patient, knowledgeable and caring. It would be transparent, avoid complex industry language, and actively look to do the right thing for people and employers.

Since 2006 our advisers have assisted clients across the UK with their mortgage, pension, investments and protection, but after helping thousands of people, we’ve identified that businesses and charities, focused on the financial well-being of their employees, could benefit from our support too.

How Can We Help?

Many employers understand their organisation relies on the mental, physical and financial well-being of their employees. Our free pension, mortgage, protection and retirement planning webinars provide employees with financial guidance that they may not be comfortable accessing elsewhere.

Our financial services webinar covers the basics of pensions and retirement planning, including the importance of starting early, understanding different types of pension schemes, and strategies for maximising retirement income. We also explore how to navigate the complexities of pensions.

Did You Know?

Employee financial stress is costing employers over £10 billion a year, according to Aegon.  16 million workdays were lost as a result of employee financial stress.

Those who receive financial advice are on average £40,000 better off after 10 years, than those who don’t. This is based on a report from the International Longevity Centre.

Why Should You Offer Employees Support?

There’s good reason to support employees with financial advisory webinars. A report from the FSCS found that 55% of people in the UK thought financial advice was only for the wealthy and that can stop employees taking the necessary steps to seek support. Some of the reasons for your organisation to offer our free webinar include:

  • Impartial support from qualified advisers.
  • Our webinars are free for your organisation.
  • Advice from a qualified adviser can form part of your employee benefits program.
  • Support your employees to access qualified advice.
  • After the webinar, we will provide you with recommendations regarding opportunities you could implement to assist your employees further.

We conduct our presentations via webinar to enable as many office-based and remote employees to attend. To avoid disrupting your day-to-day operations we can provide our webinar service at a lunchtime or after working hours, if you prefer.

We can also provide face-to-face presentations in your office, but this may come with a small charge to cover travel costs.

Our Process

The process below explains how we help organisations across the UK and the steps we take to ensure the webinar will be relevant and tailored for your employees.

If you have any specific questions about the process, please let us know.

Step 1: Initial Topic Discussion

We discuss which topics and areas of personal finance would benefit your employees, typically we suggest our introduction to pensions presentation. We complete a fact find with you to ensure the content is relevant and tailored to your needs.

Step 2: Webinar Date Agreed

Collectively we decide which date would be best for the webinar. A Teams/ Zoom invitation is shared with colleagues. We don’t need your employee’s personal details as we’ll ask you to share the invite internally. The webinar will last for 45 minutes, with 15- 25 minutes to ask any questions afterwards.

Step 3: Post Webinar Survey & Feedback

We’ll ask you to share our post-webinar survey with employees so we can gather feedback, which is used to continually evolve our presentations. The feedback we’ve received to date has helped guide future webinars and allowed us to refine the topics and content we cover.

Step 4: Follow Up / Additional Support

If employees wish to discuss more sensitive or personal details about their financial circumstances, we’ll ensure support is available. We’ll create a dedicated web page so they can enquire in confidence and receive free initial advice on their mortgage, protection, pension or investments. We’ll also supply you with further guidance on employee benefits and services that could support your employees.

The support we received from Pivotal Financial Planning was excellent and so informative. The adviser visited our office to discuss retirement planning and pensions with the team – he couldn’t have been more helpful and answered any question that was asked. His expertise was clear and he delivered all of the information in a friendly and engaging manner. Feedback from everyone has been great and we are all thinking differently about the future.
